The Buying Process
1. Browse our wide selection of golf properties. Once you have come accross a property you like, please contact us with any questions you may have. We will be glad to help you out and give you as much information as you need as well advise you on choosing the best available property for you.
2. Once you have selected the type of property you would like to buy, you will need to send a reservation deposit (usually Euro 2 000) which will take the property off the market beating any price increase as well. You can also use your credit card to make the reservation deposit. The deposit is non-refundable and is deducted from your first payment in case you proceed with the purchase. After paying the deposit, you have one month to complete all the paperwork, which we can help you with. We are able to recommend a conceyance company and a solicitor in case you'd like to engage one.
3. We strongly recommend that you come on an inspection visit so that you can be sure that you are getting the bst property for your. We can give you a tour of both the mountain and the coastal golf developement and even organise a round of golf for you if you wish.
For the inspection trips we can help with booking a flight, meeting you at the airport, booking suitable accommodation for you and your party, providing transportation to the development(s) you wish to visit, intoriduce you to a solicitor for a free consultation. We can gear your stay to your personal preferences and set up a trip to meet your individual requirements.
4. Once you have signed the preliminary agreement, you will have to make your first payment (between 10% and 40%). As most golf developers sell off plan, your property may or may not be finished when you buy it. In case it is not finished, we will send you regular construction updates with photographs of the property and onsite facilities.
5. As part of our service, we will provide you with a free building survey and snagging inspection once your property is finished, saving you time and money from not having to make 1 or 2 trips before your property is completed to a good standard.
5. Once you make the final payment, the notary deed will be transferred to you. You can give a Power of Attorney to a solicitor to represent you at the notary deed transfer or come yourself. The fee due at the transfer is a 2% municipal tax over the purchase cost and another 1.5% notary fees.
6. We can help you furnish your property and get you in contact with a good internal designer if you wish. We also work with some goofl furniture manufacturers.
