Pirin Golf & Country Club is an international 5 stars resort, situated in the beautiful Razlog valley, in the foothills of Pirin Mountains in South-West Bulgaria.

“Balkanstroy”Jsc is a main shareholder and executor of the project and after finishing of its construction phase, the company will take over the resort management.

The region is where 3 of the most attractive mountains on the Balkan Peninsula are gathering – Rila, Pirin and Rhodope Mountains, with the highest peak Musala in Rila, climbing up to 2925m, which makes it the highest point in SE Europe.

Bansko is a world-renowned ski destination with 65 km of well maintained ski slopes for beginners and for experienced skiers. Dating back to 1900s the cozy town is expected to welcome more than 750 000 tourists in the 2007/2008 season.

Pirin Golf & Country Club is a year-round resort, offering the unique opportunity to ski in the wintertime and play golf in the summer. The resort will feature two 18-holes golf courses - one an Ian Woosnam designed 18-holes championship (par 72) and the second The Pirin Pine Course, designed by young German company. Pirin Golf & Country Club is situated only 5 km from the ski slopes, making this a truly golf/ski destination.

In October 2007 the construction of the first 9 holes of the Ian Woosnam course was finished and that was celebrated with a “Family&Friends” tournament, which took place in the first weekend of October. The number of tournament participants was 56 players and the event was visited by more than 200 people altogether.

Our Practice facilities are occupying a central position on the resort, between the Ian Woosnam golf course and the Pine course. The golfers would enjoy practicing their game in the area, which represent one of the biggest and most impressive Driving range and Golf Academy in Central and Eastern Europe. The Golf academy will include sophisticated training video equipment and will as well offer lessons from highly trained golf couches. Surrounded by a natural pine forest, fresh air and quietness, golfers and beginners will be able to enjoy their time of practice.

Planned as a state of art venue, we are taking special care to construct the most important building in Golf – the Club House. The Club House of Pirin Golf & Country Club will represent a beautiful and spacious building with a Proshop, locker rooms, conference facilities and as well an attractive restaurant – from its terrace one will be able to enjoy the piece and quietness of the mountains, the fresh air and enjoy the stunning view of the setting sun, which is turning the snowy mountain peaks into pieces of pure gold. From here one can as well overview the magnificent 18th hole of the Pine course and as well the Ian Woosnam golf course.

Already operational, the Half way house is situated near the practice area, offering some refreshment drinks and dishes from the international cuisine. It has a nice terrace with a breathtaking view to the snowy Pirin peaks, the pine forest nearby and the Driving range. The architecture of the Half way house is fully corresponding to its forest location with wood and stone being the main materials used in its construction. The internal design adds on to this special place with a cozy fireplace where golfers can enjoy their drink after a round of golf or watch some celebrated moments and golfers in the history of the gentlemen´s sport.
